I am...
I am…
a son, the youngest in my family of four

a brother, with an older sister that makes long road trips one of the best parts of vacation

a grandson,  who misses Christmas in with his grandparents in Florida and all of the jokes my
grandpa told

a Missouri native, from Macon to Springfield Missouri has always been my home.

a senior, time has gone by so fast since my first days as a freshman. With college just around the corner I am beginning to feel anxious.

a friend, to anyone who needs someone to talk to

I am…
Tollhouse cookie dough, and eating it out of the package before my mom makes cookies.

Movie night on Fridays with my family when we would all spend time together

from catching toads in my backyard and naming them all buddy

from camping in buesic with my friends and making unforgettable memories

from spending time outside in my chacos and a hammock

from listening to doo wop for the first time at Cherokee to Jimi Hendrix’s riffs on the guitar as a
senior at Kickapoo

I am…
Hazel eyes and brown hair that grows into a fro

From winter time and playing in the snow and sledding until I have to shovel the driveway

From time spent at barnes and nobel looking through books

From swimming at the pool in the summer and listening to country

  1. Your blog title and background makes me smile so much. Huge fan. Sounds like you've had a sweet life so far, with lots of good times outdoors and with your family and learning about new music and books and films regularly. I do think you should grow out the fro this semester and let us see for ourselves... Thanks, Daniel!

  3. Wow Daniel, reading this I really saw how much I have in common with you, especially when you bring it down to country music and toads. Toad catching is some good fun, though, I some how always ended up catching toads with big heads... So I named them all George Lopez...

  4. Hi, Daniel,
When you talked about eating cookie dough out of the package before it actually went into the oven, I started laughing. My mom and I would eat half the package of cookie dough before she actually made them. I also loved how you talked about looking through books at Barnes and Noble. Couldn't you just spend forever in there? Your blog title is fantastic, by the way.
