Art Walk

The painting I choose to write about was the landscape of the meadow. The painting was like a hazy image of a small meadow. There were three trees and a small pond that is a little hard to notice at first. The sky over the meadow looks like it is a little overcast. The first thing that this painting made me think about in my life is something that happened on one of my families road trips down to Florida for Christmas. On the way down there we were driving through some of the southwestern states and we decided to stop at this park and eat because we brought food with us on long road trips.  I think at the stop we ate turkey and cheese sandwiches. Probably some Sun Chips as well. At the park we stopped at there was either a small lake or big pond. It was pretty cool because when we were there the sun had started its journey toward the horizon and it made cool reflections off of the water. I also remember playing football at the park. It was a pretty fun afternoon. I’m not quite sure why this painting reminded me of this place because it does not look very similar but for some reason it was just the first thing that cliqued in my head.  If I thought about a place in my life this place actually looked like that I have been to then I would probably have to say some place in Macon because there is a lot of farm land out there this reminds me of.
